Greetings C people,

I am heading for a week in Amsterdam with my wife primarily to have a good time and take many many photographs with my only camera A Leica C typ112.

See below one photograph of my style and another of my generic "go to" settings. Unless shooting macro I almost always use the settings you see in the photograph of the camera. I see that many of you use aperture priority when photographing. I just move the little dot around after composing and pushing the shutter half way down until I like the light, then I return the dot where I want it and release the shutter. I will humbly allow myself to be instructed on a better way. I have been a member of this for since March, 2003. I cannot tell you how much our members have helped me get better but I really don't want to screw up this opportunity in Amsterdam with February lighting. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the timely help.

You are welcome. (A snarky comment deserves a snarky response)

For a person asking for help that is the wrong way to go about it. Some questions take longer to get an answer to than others.
