Joshua Lowe Posted January 20, 2016 Share #21 Posted January 20, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) I own the Elmarit 24 2.8 ASPH, too. I tested the WATE last week and would definitely buy one, though I would use LV/EVF. That Frankenfinder is definitely not for me.
Advertisement Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 Hi Joshua Lowe, Take a look here To wate or to wait what should a 24mm owner do?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
cbretteville Posted February 7, 2016 Share #22 Posted February 7, 2016 Keep the 24/2.8, it is a stellar lens. If you want soemthing wider, pck up a CV 15/4.5 in LTM. Its a tiny little thing, but it does the job of an ultra wide angle well. The more recent VM versions are good lenses too, but a lot larger. I like the old one for its size. It isn't rf coupledas its younger brothers, but the dof is enormous even wide open. Cheers, Carl

Edward Louis Marit Posted February 8, 2016 Share #24 Posted February 8, 2016 I use it a lot. Fantastic lens. I tend to favor wide which not everyone does. I used to use it with my old monochrom which meant mounting the viewfinder but now I use it with 246 and use live view. I put a 35 summicron on the old monochrom instead and am totally covered as 35 is my go to lens for most things.
