The winter sun is known to be very low. Long shadows are being cast on the pathway.

my friends all, thank you so much!

Thank you for clicking the "Likes"-button

Thump,

yes, I saw this from afar, prepared the camera and pressed the shutter when those people have entered fully the frame. Thank you!

Dee,

I am delighted that you like it. I knew that it was to be rendered in bw only when taking the shot.

Michael,

thank you for looking closely. Yes, that is the potential of the Q. and since bandng now is gone since the firmware update, one can rely that there will be details in the shadows.

Thanks for your kind comment.

Dave,

nice to have your encouraging words. I more and more get familiar with the "Q". But I have also a new Canon 5D MKIII and fine L lenses. Since I did much startrails and and started this type of astrophotography, the Q cannot serve here well on that field. I have so many projects now, that the Q will show its best in street and landscape very soon. Also I am planning nightscapes in the city.

Don't worry, more will be on the way....thanks for asking.

Ece,

thank you so much. It makes me happy that you like it. It will encourage me for even more effort.

Steve,

yes, quite so - more and more  get impressed with this camera. No banding any more, which is a relief and the potential to get all the contrast in one single shot is amazing. Proessing has been reduced to a minimum. now. Thanskl for your feedack.

Stuart,

thank you for your constant support.

Mark,

thank you for your nice response. It is appreciated and will help to improve always.

Iduna,

that's very nicely done!  I'd like to see that printed up.

Thank you for posting it.

Best wishes,

Mark

Mark,

thank you so much. All this will encourage me to go further and explore this focal length on a superb camera.
