philipus Posted January 4, 2016 Share #1 Posted January 4, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) In this forum there used to be a subforum called "Leica Wiki Discussion". It may well be my search skills, or has this subforum been removed? There is no way for us non-administrator members to edit the Wiki so it would be useful to collect editing suggestions in one spot. Or is the intention that we make such suggestions in "About the Leica Forum"? br Philip
Advertisement Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Hi philipus, Take a look here Where is the Leica Wiki Discussion subforum?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
andybarton Posted January 4, 2016 Share #2 Posted January 4, 2016 It's a link on the top bar, two across from the Premium Membership link.
pop Posted January 4, 2016 Share #3 Posted January 4, 2016 Andy, that's the link to the WIKI itself. There used to be a subforum where members could discuss about the WIKI, but the corresponding link in the WIKI does no longer refer to a valid page. Editing the WIKI is restricted to just a few members, it seems, and only Admins can administrate that privilege. Also, I don't think the two members mentioned there as editors of the WIKI are active very much.
philipus Posted January 5, 2016 Author Share #4 Posted January 5, 2016 Thank you for the replies. Would it be possible to recreate the wiki subforum? Ideally that subforum would be moderated by those who are able to edit the wiki. Or is the idea that suggestions regarding the wiki should be given in the general About forum? philipus Posted January 6, 2016 Author Share #5 Posted January 6, 2016 Pending that perhaps being sorted, what I wanted to add to the Wiki is the length of the third version of the 28mm Elmarit-M, which forum member christoph_d kindly provided.
