Thanks war. How very true! It also wasn't hard to find any abstract angles to capture this 'brown paper bag' as some call it.

They had to tempt an old bricklayer out of retirement to supervise the brickwork because no 'young' bricky would take on a project with so many difficult and distorted curves.

I hope he does have the opportunity to do an encore. His work is so very different from the everyday. It's hard to walk past a building that entices you to really look at it so closely.

Love what you've done with the sculpture on top of the MCA (the first) especially.

Looks like you made it up the Pylon too - I was shocked to see it is $13 whilst walking past last week :o - I'm sure I remember it being a dollar!

Great perspective on the bridge though, it's all about the 'X''s

Very nice Mark and Hardy, love the vertical spaces.

This an abstract from Sydney University, on King Street, no idea what the building itself is called.

Thanks Mark and cron-r.

My MM arrived back today from Camera Clinic in Melbourne with its new sensor (+ new generation cover glass). Outstanding service from both Camera Clinic and Vytas at Leica Camera Australia in Melbourne. Looking forward to trying it out in the coming week/s and posting the results.

Hardster, MarkP, cron-r, jmanivelle and others.  I found this great thread recently and am really impressed by your contributions. These are fine architectural images that you shouldn't restrict to your own Australian Cityscapes thread. I would really like to find these when I open the  "Architectural" thread, why not post in Both! I know there will be others that would greatly enjoy them and frankly the thread could use a boost. I'll keep looking here though, thanks.
