These photos ​were all made with my Leica M (Typ 240) and wither 28/50mm summicron lenses. Part 2 will be Mamiya 6x6 black and white scans, Part 3 Leica shots again and 4 the remaining 6x6.

Beautiful shots especially in B/W. My compliments.

 

I've been there myself 2 years ago for almost 2 weeks. It is a place which I will never forget, nice people, stunning views, beautiful surroundings, incredible architecture of old and local food to die for. All embedded in important, but tragic, Italian culture and history.

 

Stayed in one of the nicest hotels, located in the caves itself, Le grotte del Civita, Sextantio

 

It is a place to go back to with a proper camera. I shot it with a Leica X1, but around every corner of this small city, you get inspiration for a shot... brought the photographer in me back to life.

 

Looking forward to the rest of the series!!
