xopher Posted November 26, 2015 Share #1 Posted November 26, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) My M8 appears to have the hot/dead pixel problem but they're only visible on the camera LCD. When the photos are imported into Lightroom, I can't seem to find them whereas the LCD shows them as red and blue "stars" in the black frame. Does anyone have an explanation for this? Is this something I should be concerned about?
Advertisement Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Hi xopher, Take a look here Hot/dead pixels but not on lightroom?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
tobey bilek Posted December 4, 2015 Share #2 Posted December 4, 2015 LR and ACR fixes errant pixels. If you get a dead one, then you see the colored line on the camera and Adobe can not fix it. Remap at Leica for $450 or make i pixel wide selection and use content aware fill in Photoshop. Set up as an action and do them all at one time.
