This is working nicely.

Maybe a little cropping would improve things just a little more: just below the man's feet at the lower edge and just to the left of the sculpture that is partially visible just on the right edge above the carriage.

And in PP, maybe try to lift the shadows a little to give at least some detail. There is just a hint of the person's shoe but you could probably lift a little more. The carriage wheels do help things along in terms of detail in that region in the near side and beneath the carriage.

The lighting on the man's face, the carriage light, the lit archways with a hint of what lies beyond all stregthen what this image is all about.

Another strong point is the curvature of the paving edge leading into the left hand archway. And of course the cobblestones have excellent textural lighting.

So I would say this image is not random at all but rather an elegantly assembled composition.

Dear Neil,

Appreciated your whole comment! I will definitely try to be more careful especially for about the shadow details in processing the pictures in Lightroom. Frankly, I always prefer not to crop my photographs because I believe that the cropped photographs become another ones.

As per your last words, next time I will revise my comment like this: "I love taking random street photographs but in an elegant way!" :))

Cheers,

Yavuz
