Philip, Bill, Gerry, Jeff and Robert, thank you very much for your feedback.

I was passing by fast because I was late for a meeting. When I rapidly first saw this scene, I hesitated also for a fraction of second before I realized what was really going on! :)

Yikes!  Excellent.  we refer to pigeons here very similarly - flying rats.  is this in Madison Square Park?

Thanks, Stuart. I really can't recall where exactly I took that shot. During the few short hours I spent in NY, I was always in hurry, trying to catch up with my daughter and her energetic friends! :)

I forgot to ask- Was she accepting tips in the open suitcase?

If it was Madison Square Park you were near the Flatiron Building, if that helps.  Also near gelato as good as one gets in southern Sicily, but more on that when you visit.

Stuart, I really can't tell! I do have a shot of Flatiron building that is not next to this shot!... My entire journey in NY was rush, rush and rush!... I discovered most of my shots when I was back home, on my PC! LOL And I have no idea if people were paying this person that I even doubt being a woman! :)

Louis,

uff, I admit I also had to look twice. What a secret nightmare! This lets look deep into the human Soul. Great capture!

That was also my first reaction, but it was because I was passing by very quickly and didn't have much time to  really look. Then, I found it weird that nothing was moving and just took a quick shot! .... :D

Thanks very much, Iduna!
