Iduna, this is lovely in it's simplicity. From the top: clouds, mountains (birds) and ocean all have the same rolling, repetitive forms, combining to make a very pleasing whole.

My compliments, a beautiful layered landscape in greytones, behind a lively blue patterned sea.

Is it me,or is your horizon a tad off?  

I know it is just nitpicking,, but with a just simple beautiful compositions this, it is in the detail.

But hey, I am an architect and a bit anal about these things.

very nice, thanks for your kind feedback. About the horizon you may be right but I think since my position was not parallel to the surf this causes the impression about the horizon...

The horizon is dead straight on my monitor. Now we have to correct for tilt as well as colour???

 

I like the opalescence in the water.  Very nice Iduna.

thanks for your commitment. Complex tilt/shift operations should be done during the shoot. But those are differtn subjects then....good idea for future captures.

you mentioned an issue. Yes I thought to bring it out even more but was a bit reluctant because the balance has to be kept here. I'll go back to that file and check it out.
