Advertisement Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Hi ShawnK, Take a look here Calatrava. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
masjah Posted November 16, 2015 Share #2 Posted November 16, 2015 Shawn, I love this. Very well seen, extremely interesting geometry, works very well in monochrome and with an excellently judged grey scale.

AndreasAM Posted November 16, 2015 Share #4 Posted November 16, 2015 (edited) Great composition, nicely layered patterns of grids, light and shadows! Sometimes a detail like this, is telling more of the architecture of the building than a overall shot. Beautiful done, my compliments! Which lens did you use? ShawnK Posted November 16, 2015 Author Share #5 Posted November 16, 2015 Thank you Andreas. I have educational background and experience in these types of structures, so I find them very intellectually stimulating. The best I ever saw was Frank Gehry's bldg. while it was under construction, in various stages, to convey the fragility the sub-structure is usually quite over designed but the result is all it matters. It really was lotsa fun seeing it from within, exceptional bldg.

war Posted November 20, 2015 Share #11 Posted November 20, 2015 Now I think your photo is even better. I would have never guessed that was the same building I've visited many times. Now I'm inspired to go back to photograph it! Here's a shot of what remains of our Calatrava. Welcome, dear visitor!
