Sorry if this has been asked before, but some threads are old while others don't have so many useful replies.

I want to print some portraits printed in a second to none superb quality in sizes from 20x30 to 50x80 centimeters, preferably on Hahnemühle or Ilford paper.

Do you have some recommendations?

Thanks in advance.

The Printspace

offer a great service and I've had some pieces done by them when my own printer went kaput. And although I haven't used them but have seen the amazing results close up Ilford themselves offer a fine print service for digital images using real silver gelatin paper.

I intend to have my next batch of prints done at the Ilford lab, and I will report on my findings. Their website doesn't seem to specify shipping and handling costs (either in UK or, relevant for me, mainland EU), so I will report on that, too. I haven't found a print service here in the Netherlands that uses real silver gelatin paper. With glossy finish, this should be excellent for small prints.

Even better for large prints. :)

I'm interested in the results of digitally printing on proper  photographic paper.
