stefano60 Posted November 27, 2015 Share #3 Posted November 27, 2015 I just received my M9 back from Wetzlar this week; took it out yesterday for a few quick shots and when i imported them into lightroom i had the distinct impression that they were slightly 'different'; no scientific tests here, just pure gut feel. Unfortunately, I just sold my M9P (which i had been shooting with all summer, while without the M9) and was unable to do a side by side test, but my first impression was that the files were a little more 'vibrant', very very nice indeed. The camera is now on posted on Ebay, I just got an MM - over the last few months/years I noticed that, except when i must shoot product, I almost always convert into B&W, and so I finally made the full commitment. I guess if/when I feel like colour again, I will pop some colour film in the M4 :-) However, if it does not sell quickly, I might decide to keep the M9 too, those files planted a bug in me ... and good M9s are going to eventually get harder to find, now that Leica has basically 'killed' the CCD in their line.
