I see that Brooklyn Beckham - a very keen photographer - has now got himself an R9. 

 

This could have a greater impact on R prices than the new SL…..

Can't blame him from buying the R9 though, amazing camera. Use it still quite a lot (the R8) beside my S!

I don't know who he is, but I share the joy with jip ... The R8 was a dream for me in the late '90s, and lives up to my expectations 100% now that I have finally acquired one and a nice lens kit. I'll continue to use it alongside the SL, sharing the lenses between them.

Good luck to the lad. Who he is is isn't important (except possibly in  indirectly publicising the brand and the camera). It's simply nice to see a young person enthusiastic about photography and the lovely look of film (not to mention the glass!).

I don't know who he is. 

 

He's one of David & Victoria Beckham's sons - just someone's kid basically - but influential to lots of other kids so it can only be a good thing that he shows such interest in photography, specifically fim and Leica's too.

 

Perhaps he could be Leica's new youth ambassador!
