MarkP Posted November 5, 2015 Share #3 Posted November 5, 2015 So I was going to suggest that those of you across the pond start a New Zealand Landscapes - Open Thread' but you beat me to it! I'm expecting really outstanding landscapes from your spectacular country - no pressure ;-) Excellent start. I'll have none to contribute but I can now travel NZ from my armchair. I ope to get there next year - I hope!

The clouds hanging above the valley help too. cheers Dave S

IkarusJohn Posted November 7, 2015 Author Share #11 Posted November 7, 2015 (edited) Thank you for the kind comments. I will look for film images, Stu; but I don't use colour film, so I doubt I can meet your needs. I'm quietly posting in the hope that I can lure some of my compatriots (Eion Christie?) to post ... Looking at this thread, I must apologise for a couple of issues I've identified. First, I have processed the images on three different computers, and this has raised a problem. My work iMac has a nice big screen, my Mac Pro at home has a calibrated Eizo screen, but it has a window right behind it, and my MacBook Air is only 11" This has resulted in wildly varying images when posted, for which I apologise. The second issue is I do have a set of Lee Se5en filters, but haven't been using them when walking about. I realise all of the recent images would have benefited from a polariser and graduated ND filter - sorry about that. I'll look back through my catalogue and will post more as the days go by. I hope others with images from their travels here will also post. Cheers John Edited November 7, 2015 by IkarusJohn
