JonVdG Posted November 3, 2015 Share #1 Posted November 3, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) This is my first post here, and I'm still learning the terrain of the forum a bit. I'm a new owner of the V-Lux and I'm wondering if anyone has any good experiences with wired or wireless remotes for the Typ 114. I'm aware that the DMW-RSL1 will work, just curious what to hear what other options have been tried. Thanks.

pico Posted November 3, 2015 Share #2 Posted November 3, 2015 If you mean the wired remote, then save a lot of money and get one of the Chinese versions. There is a Vello RS-P1II available for $10. For a little more you can get ones with an built-in intervalometer, too. For wireless there are so many options it's overwhelming.

While it works just fine the pin broke off in my receptacle in my V-Lux and I had to send it to Leica for repair!
ropo54 Posted August 13, 2016 Share #4 Posted August 13, 2016 (edited) I apologize if I may be misleading you but I know that the T and Q can be operated remotely via apps for the iPhone (and can snap the shutter remotely). I know that the V Lux can also make a wifi connection for transfer of photos through an app on the iPhone called Leica's "Image Shuttle"; I just don't know whether that app allows one to have the camera snap a photo.
