Jim-St Posted November 1, 2015 Share #1 Posted November 1, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just posted on the Adobe Lightroom forum here about a new issue with Photo Merge> Panorama in Lightroom CC 2015.2.1 (will apply also to LR 6.2.1), which is affecting only files from my M9. Attempts to merge files into panoramas result in output of a file named Lfilenumber-Pano.dng as expected, but the file comprises an assemblage of black patches where the relevant slices of the merged images should be (see attached). If viewed in Cropped mode, this is just a black rectangle. Anyone else seen this? I'm running LR on an iMac, under El Capitan, 10.11.1 Jim Welcome, dear visitor! Advertisement Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Hi Jim-St, Take a look here Lightroom Merge to Panorama Broken (Again..) for M9 Files. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Exodies Posted November 1, 2015 Share #2 Posted November 1, 2015 Happens to me too with m240 DNGs. Problem is with both merges, HDR and panorama.
Jim-St Posted November 2, 2015 Author Share #3 Posted November 2, 2015 Hi Exodies Thanks for that - I hadn't tried an HDR but did so today and found that mine just seemed to give up: progress bar ran about half way across and then just vanished leaving the grey preview area. I found if I unchecked Auto Tone, I then got the black rectangle where the image should be, but of course no image. Looks like Merge Photo to both HDR and Pano are broken for files from M9, M240 and likely Monochrom, M8, and ME as well I'll post this to the Adobe Forum too Anyone else seeing these problems? Jim-St Posted November 3, 2015 Author Share #4 Posted November 3, 2015 Just heard from Eric Chan that this issue has been identified by the Adobe Camera Raw team and is now fixed. The fix will be in the upcoming dot release of LR and ACR Jim
