mark_pw Posted November 1, 2015 Share #1 Posted November 1, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) The Leica Elmarit-R 35mm f2.8 could have a very short focusing distance, I recently found it could give some quite nice shots on flowers. I put some other shots at BigBigLens.com - Leica.

jip Posted November 1, 2015 Share #2 Posted November 1, 2015 Used it like this quite a bit on the R8
mark_pw Posted November 4, 2015 Author Share #3 Posted November 4, 2015 The close ups are quite impressive even without a extension tube.
gbealnz Posted November 8, 2015 Share #4 Posted November 8, 2015 Bit of a guess, (and yes, OK, I could look it up), but if it's the same filter thread as my R 50mm Summicron (V1), then the Elpro series close-up attachments screw straight on. Try one, they are a great and cost effective addition. Gary
tobey bilek Posted November 22, 2015 Share #5 Posted November 22, 2015 Do not adapt see 6 0r 7 series to 55 mm because you through off the spacing and you make it into something that does not work.

Agree. Use a proper 55mm one on the lens.
Shac Posted November 26, 2015 Share #7 Posted November 26, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Well I have to respecfully disagree - I have one of the Series Elpros with a step ring and it works perfectly fine
gbealnz Posted November 26, 2015 Share #8 Posted November 26, 2015 Hmmmm, I'll sit on the fence, Toby is likely correct, but I too use my two Elpros with adapter rings, self made M44 to M 52 for the T 18-56, and M44 to M43 for the X-Vario. Work? You betcha. Gary
