Thanks for contributing Stuart. Unfortunately, like David, many of my photos from around Australia they were shot in my earlier film Nikon and Contax days.

 

Great set of photos. Some of them look like we stood next to each other when they were taken as I've been to most of these places. Standouts here are Remarkable Rocks (Kangaroo Island, South Australia) although I do have some from here which I'll post shortly), WIneglass Bay (East Coast Tasmania), Dove Lakeand the Nut (Stanley, NW Tamania). Lots of sheep shit climbing the Nut!

Dave,

This was that infamous dust storm that wiped out Melbourne in February 1983. I happened to be driving through the Riverina when it passed me heading for Sydney!

It originated in SA didn't it, you would remember? Most of the texture/grain is the red dust as it really was, I took this shot without getting out of the car as that would have been impossible!

Regarding dirt in fleeces; it isn't too much of a worry, they have very sophisticated ways of cleaning wool, burrs and grass seeds and thistles are more of a nuisance.
