sml_photo Posted October 30, 2015 Author Share #23 Posted October 30, 2015 Funny....I started this thread because I was curious about customizing my membership title/type. But now that I'm actually looking at others', I wonder why I am still considered "Neuer." Hmmm....??
sml_photo Posted January 21, 2016 Author Share #24 Posted January 21, 2016 Just realized.....I'm still a Neuer Benutzer! What's a guy gotta do to NOT be considered Neuer any longer??

hoppyman Posted February 8, 2016 Share #26 Posted February 8, 2016 That is interesting. I never knew that field was customisable by the member. I am not a sponsoring member but the option is live on my edit my profile page. There was a threshold number of posts where the software 'upgraded' you from Neuer Benutzer to Erfahrener Benutzer. Something like new member and senior member? Maybe only when you level up to Erfahrener Benutzer you have the customising option? Now I shall have to think of something clever to use ;-)

As we have members with more than 80.000 posts we definitely need more titles. Any suggestions? Please post title and how many posts you gotta have for that.
 Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! andybarton Posted February 10, 2016 Share #34 Posted February 10, 2016 Automatically changing user titles We have only meager four (4) different user titles: Bildschirmfoto-2016-02-10-um-10.29.43.png I am not sure what the two stars under your Avatar (and mine, IIRC) actually signify. We also have a rating system for topics (up to 5 stars), but I am unsure about how that works. Do a certain number of posters need to rate the topic before the number of stars are shown? Finally, I think that occasionally, some posts are rated as "Hot". What is the criteria for that to happen? Thanks!
LUF Admin Posted February 11, 2016 Share #35 Posted February 11, 2016 I am not sure what the two stars under your Avatar (and mine, IIRC) actually signify.Decoration. Looks pretty. We also have a rating system for topics (up to 5 stars), but I am unsure about how that works. Do a certain number of posters need to rate the topic before the number of stars are shown? No, I think the rating shows up, when a first rating was made. Finally, I think that occasionally, some posts are rated as "Hot". What is the criteria for that to happen? 15 posts. That's all.
