red "busy" light blinks 3-4 seconds after each shot -- "processing"?

Shooting RAW with Leica Q and red "busy" light blinks for approx 3-4 seconds after each shot, seemingly the Venus Engine "processing". Can't access review during. Is this lengthy time normal?

No this is not normal.  Check your SD card as it seems you have long write times to the card.  99% sure this is your card slowing things  down.

Agree with struggle.

 

Mine works fine. The busy light is blinking but I still have full instant access to taking more pics.

 

I use the SanDisk Extreme Pro 95mb/sec cards formatted in the Q.

Yep - not sure the minimum recommendation, but you don't need the fastest card out there for sure (for stills anyhow).  When I buy cards, I look at the fastest and then buy a notch or two down from there to save a lot of money.  A faster card should help out!

Perhaps the OP has accidentally switched the "on" over C-continuous.
