After discovering my mother-in-law's nice little missal, and further digging in old family souvenirs boxes, I found an even nicer missal. This one dates 1866 and has been offered for his first communion to my wife's grand-father. It is bound in solid, sculpted ivory, with silk-covered first and last inner pages, closed by a metallic clip, measures 115 x 80 mm and contains no less than 540 pages.

Edition has made huge progresses, they say...
