This is the best I could do, but worth getting up at 3 am just to watch it happen.

No pics of the eclipse itself. Got a few of the supermoon over Manhattan when the clouds parted for a while.

Here is another supermoon. I am still amazed how much  M 240's DNG files can be processed by doing simple layer adjustments in Photoshop.  I think someone remarked that their plasticity is like cookie dough.

We were being kept quite troubled by the weatherforecast not being sure whether fog would roll in. So lastly we decided to drive an hour and found a field on a slope with a nice view of the landscape . We were happy with the decision because we could watch almost the whole drama before we got drenched with mist and fog at 5 a.m. but by then the peak eclipse was over and we packed happy with what we could catch.

We used a mount for astonomers and could track so easily by clicking every 15 Minutes without shifting the camera.

My Olmypus EM5 was a nice combo with the R Telyt 250 mm

so here are a few shot, more will follow after finishing my processing, which takes a bit time for there are a few steps of denoising to be done. But even the Raw files are very pleasing.

Three shots
