Hood options for Summilux 35 ASPH pre-FLE

12644? You mean 12466 i guess. The 12588 (left) has the same size and cap (right) as the 12589 (middle). It is in fact the same hood w/o the locking ring of the latter. This way the hood does not get in the way when rotating the aperture ring but the 12588 tends to detach itself much more easily from the lens so apart from the 12466, the 12589 remains the best option IMHO.

28mm summicron hood fits as well, nicer than the original IMO...

 

Matter of tastes... Too big for me... YMMV.
