Robert M Poole Posted September 1, 2015 Share #1 Posted September 1, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) On a recent trip to Greece I was lucky enough to be present for the feast day of St Gerassimo, patron saint of Kephalonia. Gerassimo lived on the island and did good works for the poor founding a monastery there. When he died his body didn't decompose and so he was declared a saint. The body is now brought out at special occasions and it is said that the body possesses healing powers. As such people flock to see the saint from all over the island as well as surrounding islands and mainland Greece. All photos with m9. stuny Posted September 1, 2015 Share #13 Posted September 1, 2015 A lovely set. Two other comments: The file sizes are small enough that you could have done this in 2 posts instead of 12, and still have room for more - It's annoying to keep scrolling from one to the next post. Notice that the first one failed? That happens too often when posting from Flickr instead of posting directly here. I encourage you to post directly here instead.

Notice that the first one failed? That happens too often when posting from Flickr instead of posting directly here. I encourage you to post directly here instead. Thank you for your comments. The first one failed because I deleted it as I'd uploaded the wrong version of the file. I don't think it is possible to edit posts later though is it? Uploading to Flickr rather than to here is for selfish reasons too I suppose, it might encourage people to look at the rest of my work plus I can see how many views etc.
