A Sfeir Posted August 28, 2015 Share #1 Posted August 28, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Is the screw covering the vertical calibration hole on the M-P a real screw or a simple plastic cover like the logo previously used on the m? Peter Kilmister Posted August 28, 2015 Share #2 Posted August 28, 2015 Not certain, but when I stuck my fingernail in the groove it certainly feels metallic.

Peter Kilmister Posted August 29, 2015 Share #5 Posted August 29, 2015 A good question. If I decided to attack mine with everything in my tool box then my wife would have me committed to a place where mad people are sent. So I think it will remain unanswered by me. jaapv Posted August 29, 2015 Share #6 Posted August 29, 2015 Real screw -if you value your camera use a fitting screwdriver and be very careful.

Peter Kilmister Posted August 29, 2015 Share #10 Posted August 29, 2015 There is probably nothing wrong with you. It is a fair question. My chrome M-P 240 is nearly a year old and only one sign of wear. The INFO button on the back now spells 'IN-O', possibly because I carry it over my shoulder and the black paint has become worn by wear and tear. To quote an old joke, "Where is the F in INFO? Press the button and all will be revealed". The M-P is a very sturdy beast and, compared to black versions, this amount of detriment is nothing. Don't be concerned about a screw. Sorry, I mean the screw on the front of the camera.
Mornnb Posted August 30, 2015 Share #11 Posted August 30, 2015 All the paint on my Info button wore off. So it now looks right.
