A7s mod + 28/2 v2 (11672) at f/2.

Focus on "Castelot" at about 20cm focus distance.
Corner looks slightly sharper than v1's (see post # 38 above).

Focus on the tree at the top left corner.

Corner looks slightly sharper than v1's (see post # 39 above).

In an attempt to respond to this post, I realized that in a catalog of maybe 10k images, it was almost impossible to find an image where the corner sharpness mattered.

Soft corners indeed. And the original image must be even softer due to your cropping i suspect. Did you use really a Sony? :D Just kidding but this thread is aimed at people interessed by sharp corners in landscapes for instance, like your truly. Ugly sharpness here but no cropping at all.
