a very nice composition. It is a fine subject for B&W. At least on my monitor the shades could be more shining though. You can try if you could get more glowing brightness. Sharpness  is excellent.

Thank you so much for your comment.I'll try to attach  an other version,This time I used the preview version on my 24'' iMac.I usually set my desktop at ± 75 %. I tweaked it a bit . Maybe you like this one better. Greetings: John Basso.

Such a tranquil scene and much improved with your second edit.

I might be tempted to clone out the fishing rod appearing from the guys head in the foreground.
