2.3 million visitors in 5 days, more than 50 Tall Ships, hundreds of historical smaller ships, a wonderful experience :) :)

We were lucky to be able to cruise through the harbour in the evening on board of the Artemis, itself one of the tall Ships, built as a whaler at the turn of the 19th-20th century.

Most shots were taken using the Summilux 24 on the M240, the fireworks shot was with the Olympus 75-150. All handheld, tripods don't work on a moving ship ;)

Unfortunately processing had to be done on an uncalibrated laptop at work, so any suggestions are welcome.

   Hello Jaap.

I love this nautical scene with Amsterdam in the background .Great photography by an expert who knows his equipment ,Shooting hand held on a moving ship ,indeed is not to easy. Apparently this is not your problem.I used to live in The Netherlands for 19 years of my life and having had the great privilege to live in the medieval town of Zierikzee.I saw many ships of all types and sizes.I love the sea.I still have that smell of the sea in my nose. Bravo ***** John Basso.
