Advertisement Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Hi Hans-Peter, Take a look here Little refugee. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
likalar Posted August 17, 2015 Share #2 Posted August 17, 2015 I've come back to this twice. Such an odd and somewhat disturbing scene, but one that gets the mind churning. The man in the corner just adds to the mystery. I'm not a fan of cartoony kids clothes, but here the hello kitty graphics are a great contrast to the entire scene. Thanks for posting this. Hans-Peter Posted August 25, 2015 Author Share #3 Posted August 25, 2015 Hello Larry Thank you for your praise. I have a better picture of this scene, I want to show you. I had reserved for our local newspaper. It shows the entrance of a refugee camp with Roma children. Please excuse my bad English. Welcome, dear visitor! robert blu Posted August 25, 2015 Share #4 Posted August 25, 2015 (edited) Thanks for posting both pictures. Both good, I love the B&W but it's just my personal taste. The color one is more descriptive, interesting. robert Edited August 25, 2015 by robert blu
XVarior Posted August 27, 2015 Share #5 Posted August 27, 2015 Both shots powerful. I've been covering Syrian refugees kids for years now, didn't know you got refugees in Rome. Second shot has an add on in my opinion which is the man looking from the window. Wonder if you can show it to us in B&W.
allamande Posted August 29, 2015 Share #6 Posted August 29, 2015 The "security" window has huge impact in this frame (for me), and in your second image, the man peeking from the window adds another level of creepiness to the whole setting (in contrast to the light mood of the children). So much suffering going on all over, while so little is done to alleviate that suffering. Thank you for these images. Ece
