A miller Posted August 10, 2015 Share #1 Posted August 10, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) If so, can you help? When I try I get a message saying that 'the photos do not all contain the necessary metadata for merging? Do I need to adjustment my scanning and/or importing workflow, or am I just out of luck?? Advertisement Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 Hi A miller, Take a look here Does the Lightroom 6 HDR merge function work with film scan?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Phil U Posted August 10, 2015 Share #2 Posted August 10, 2015 I think the software needs to know the relative EV's to complete the process and I think that is normally achieved by tracking the shutter speeds. Or if there is an EV value from the meter in the EXIF it may use that. I would try adding the shutter/aperture info in to the EXIF if you can (Exiftool, perhaps?). I think in some other HDR software you can manually 'arrange' the photos in the correct sequence but I don't know if that's an option in lightroom.

Your comment makes sense. I will play around with it a little more along those lines. All the best, Adam
