Several times per week for over a month, as I drive to work, this hen Mallard has marched her brood of babies along the same route that I travel.  I have watched them since they were little fuzz balls on two legs.  Now they are nearly ready to fly but they still march out on their morning constitutional.  This morning I had my camera on the car seat next to me and I shot several pictures as they marched across a lawn.   I realized they were going to cross in front of the white garage door so I moved ahead and waited for them.  That provided a better backdrop.  Then I had to move fast to get ahead because they intended to cross in front of my car.  Sometimes they stop in the road way to absorb the warmth and that stops traffic and I was already late.

M240-P with 75 apo Cron.  Cropped about 50%.

Thanks for looking,

Mark
