Guest NEIL-D-WILLIAMS Posted July 26, 2015 Share #1 Posted July 26, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am planning a trip to Japan in October/November and part of that trip will be to shoot the pretty girls at the Tokyo Motor Show. My concern is that as we all know the Leica S is not a fantastic camera in low light situations unless we add some light so my question is what flash set up would you recommend for an inside event like the Tokyo Motor Show using the Leica S ??? Thanks in advance

Thanks in advance I think you will get best results with the Leica SF 58 flash, in manual or TSS mode. It is very versatile, with tilt head and an extra direct light in front. It is a bit complex in use because of all the possibilities, and I would strongly recommend to rehearse using in in similar shooting situations that you expect in Japan. I had the chance to buy one from some guy in the US on eBay but seeing as he lives in a closet he thought that selling to someone in Malaysia would be fraud so he at first said no..........now I get three messages a day from the same guy wanting me to take it (no frigging way) I will just buy a new one from a guy in Hong Kong..............and like you say (Practice)
