Einst_Stein Posted July 21, 2015 Share #1 Posted July 21, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have 25mm~135mm covered for my M9, I am looking to extend to 16mm. preferably a single lens to cover 16-35mm more or less. WATE is a choice but it is expensive, and I found I'm more and more lazy to change lens. So a second camera with good 16-35mm range is preferred. ??? Advertisement Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 Hi Einst_Stein, Take a look here 16-35mm for M9. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
johnloumiles Posted July 21, 2015 Share #2 Posted July 21, 2015 I say just get the new 15mm Heliar that is supposed to be amazing. I mean do you really need 16-24? Just seems like a cheaper, more streamlined option then a new system. There's also the 21mm Skopar and Nokton. If you are primarily a architecture/landscape guy then I understand, but if that were the case you probably want to invest in the WATE over all those longer lenses. new2leica Posted July 21, 2015 Share #3 Posted July 21, 2015 The only Leica zoom I'm aware of covering your desired range is the 11-23 (x1.5 crop) for the T. You'd give up full-frame of course.

Einst_Stein Posted July 21, 2015 Author Share #6 Posted July 21, 2015 Fuji X & Fujinon 10-24 mm meets Your needs in 100%! Thomas The price of Fuji X +10-24mm seems not much different from T + 11-23mm. How would you compare the image quality and convenience?
johnloumiles Posted July 21, 2015 Share #7 Posted July 21, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have not but others swear by it. http://leicarumors.com/2015/05/13/my-muse-the-15mm-voigtlander-super-wide-heliar-iii-lens-review.aspx/ I have shot with the 21 Skopar and it's tack sharp across the entire image. Have you used the 15mm Helliar on M?
IWC Doppel Posted July 27, 2015 Share #8 Posted July 27, 2015 I have an M9-P which I use 12mm CV II, 15mm CV II, 18mm Leica SEM, 21mm and 24mm Elmarit Leica lenses The only one I am not a fan of is the 15mm CV II due to the magenta casts, I dont like it converted to B&W on the M9 either, but really like it on the MM I will probably pick up a 15mm III and sell the II
