edwardkaraa Posted July 23, 2015 Share #21 Posted July 23, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm quite happy to see the Leica lens market going back to normal. That's the way it should be not an under manufactured artificially rare collectors market like Hermes and other French crooks.

williamgm Posted July 19, 2016 Share #24 Posted July 19, 2016 Well, maybe there's a chance I might soon be able to afford my first M camera..........and perhaps even a lens! It would have to be an M9 though, the M240 is still far to expensive (for me). Geoff
IWC Doppel Posted July 20, 2016 Share #25 Posted July 20, 2016 Suspect they might plateau if the new M is out in September driving demand and the £ stays weak. I wonder when the next Leica UK price rise will be.....

I wonder when the next Leica UK price rise will be..... I think they're more or less stable, but currency variations give a perceived change in a global market.
mirekti Posted July 20, 2016 Share #27 Posted July 20, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Mint WATE was sold on Ebay for $3250 the other day. Yes, prices of "regular" lenses and especially those still manufactured are getting more and more affordable on the 2nd marked. I bought all my lenses new and not really interested in anything else at the moment except some wide angle (that's how I noticed the sold WATE), but still not sure I need it. Paulus Posted July 24, 2016 Author Share #28 Posted July 24, 2016 Just noticed, that the new summicron 35mm asph is down over € 500,- in Germany compared with the Dutch price? https://www.meister-camera.com/en/product/5807/summicron-20-35mm-asph-silbern-verchromt
Pjay Posted July 26, 2016 Share #29 Posted July 26, 2016 Two days ago I took delivery of an absolutely mint 1988 Noctilux f1, for a tad over AU$7k. Given that the 0.95 version sells locally for $13k, I'd say that was a bargain... Very impressed with Fotopia ;>)

james.liam Posted July 28, 2016 Share #31 Posted July 28, 2016 With the end of Leica's prolonged discounting of new items in North America, the 2nd hand prices have consequently jumped again. I noticed at a dealer in the US who often has QM2 items, the 50 APO jumped by about US$600 in the course of two months whilst the 21SEM rose by ~$300. Lower demand lenses appear to have remained steady.
