ho_co Posted July 15, 2015 Share #1 Posted July 15, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Ten years or so ago, I outsmarted myself and had a number of transparencies converted to Kodak's PCD format. But now Photoshop will no longer recognize a PCD file. Anyone know of a workaround? Thanks.
Advertisement Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 Hi ho_co, Take a look here Anybody know of a raw processor that reads PCDs?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
pico Posted July 15, 2015 Share #2 Posted July 15, 2015 An often overlooked utility is Irfanview which does decode PCD (portfolio cd) files. For a good start visit: http://www.irfanview.com/plugins.htm and the parent link for the top software at http://www.irfanview.com/. Good luck!

It is still on the list of file types for Photoshop, are you sure it has been 'switched on' in Bridge > Edit > Preferences > File Type Associations ? Steve Thanks, Steve. I'll check that. I thought I had seen a note from Adobe that they were dropping it in PS6 and PSCC. Maybe my error!
