Pecole Posted July 9, 2015 Share #1 Posted July 9, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) A problem I discovered when using my tiny V-Lux 20, was the delay between the depressing of the release and the effective registration of the digital image in rapid action. This is due to the auto-focusing time and makes "instant" shots quite difficult. The arrival of some of our grand-children for holidays by a especially hot afternoon, offered occasions to test and tame the camera delay. It took me quite a few tests to reach the following results, but fortunately enough, trashy digital shots do not cost anything but pride. Welcome, dear visitor! Pecole Posted July 9, 2015 Author Share #4 Posted July 9, 2015 By jove, he's got it" super shots... If it's not too personal a ? - what is the + on the boys head? Frankly speaking, Manoleica, even if Liam, 11, is my grandson, I couldn't discover the meaning of the "hair tattoo". I suspect HE doesn't know either, Probably one of his friends - or colleagues - at school had one...or it appeared on the head of a TV cartoon "hero". You know, another grandson told me not so long ago that asking questions and looking for meanings is definitely outdated and typical of old guys... He must be right since I am 81. By the way, how old are you? OK, coming back to serious, understandable and practical things : thanks for your appreciation of my tests. stuny Posted July 13, 2015 Share #5 Posted July 13, 2015 Very nice. Some of the delay might also be the electronic viewfinder/screen.
Pecole Posted July 14, 2015 Author Share #6 Posted July 14, 2015 Very nice. Some of the delay might also be the electronic viewfinder/screen. Possibly, Stuny. I must confess that - as a (former) lawyer - I am not able to judge "electronic phenomena". And from a certain point of view, the use of purely mechanical cameras like the M3-M6 was easier and certainly more "understandable".
