Like this portrait really a lot - nice colors - movement - expression - (only irritating thing is the boring bra) - Great job !

Thanks for looking and commenting. This one was just a grab in a 2 minute window at a workshop so no control over wardrobe. I have worked with this model a number of times over last few years though for fashion and fashion nude themes. We do have quite a catalog of shots (maybe a couple of thousand) with no boring bras. This is my portrait thread though

Oh I am going to be in the minority here but I like the B&W versions but mostly I don't like the studio colour versions(I like a couple). For me the studio colour portraits are "too real" they are sharply focused and show every blemish on the models faces, they don't flatter. I would be happy hanging nearly all the B&W portraits in my hall but not the colour versions they are too clinical.

I do however love #102

Thanks for looking and commenting Paul. Someone else commented previously that they didn't like the BW conversions at all.
The BW photos are edited in the same way as the rest with the addition of the BW conversion afterwards.

The skin retouching in most is the same, and intended to let the skin still look like skin as my MUA friends put it. Against the general tend to more comprehensive softening commercially I am sure.

#102 is the result of lower light, lower shutter speed and insufficiently steady hand holding with that as well as higher ISO and the light we used of course.  Its not sharp anywhere although the equipment is capable. Some rescue done in processing. Of course its quite different to studio shots

Thanks Hardy and Stuart. The model in the last is a good friend and we have worked together quite a bit. We are all about edgy and alternative in our projects while most importantly having fun with it.

The delightful Josephine describes herself as Australian made with imported ingredients!
Her irresistible smile is always just below the surface and shows her gorgeous soul perfectly too.
