Cuthbert Posted June 30, 2015 Share #1 Posted June 30, 2015 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) For those who aren't familiar with the Midlands, Tyseley is a old train depot that now is used to restore vintage steam locomotives, it's usually close to the pubblic besides in its open days...like in the last weekend. http://www.tyseleylocoworks.co.uk/ Unfortunately it was a rainy day so the sky looks ugly in all my pics, with a bright blue sky the dragon's breath of these iron giants would have been more striking, however I decided to share few pics of the event, both in B&W (expired BW400CN) and colour (Portra160 and the "new" Gold 200). The star of the open day was Princess Elizabeth, a locomotive DIFFICULT to take pics at: "Mom, do I look tiny in comparison to her?" Now after servicing it's in running conditions (here she's departing): This is her personal website to know a little more about her history: http://www.6201.co.uk/ And the pics of the website are better than mine JUST because of the blue sky! The usual Tyseley collection is impressive: Edited June 30, 2015 by Cuthbert
