35mm lens

There are no bad M-mount 35mm lenses. It will depend on your preferences in terms of size, speed and behaviour (resistance to flare, focus shift, etc). I have used only Leica and Zeiss (no experience with CV), and Zeiss lenses are good value and very close to Leica in terms of performance -- in some models and on certain parameters some would even say they are better than their Leica equivalents.

On a limited budget, I would get either the Zeiss f/2 or f/2.8, or else a V2 or V3 Summicron -- bear in mind that those made in Canada are optically and mechanically identical to those made in Germany, but sell for significantly lower prices.
