Michael Hiles Posted May 30, 2015 Share #4 Posted May 30, 2015 (edited) Interesting picture. At the risk of being fatuous and glib (my wife might like to comment) - crop with your feet before raising the camera to your eye. Assume you are standing in the wrong place - it is almost always true, Edited May 30, 2015 by Michael Hiles
skimmel Posted May 30, 2015 Author Share #5 Posted May 30, 2015 Interesting picture. At the risk of being fatuous and glib (speak to my wife) - crop with your feet before raising the camera to your eye. Assume you are standing in the wrong place - it is almost always true, No chance to do this. I had to stand behind the audience otherwise I'd block all the kids' views. Anyway, I probably would have still shot this wide as I wanted to get the audience in the frame at the moment. But, the question now is, was that the best decision? stuny Posted May 31, 2015 Share #6 Posted May 31, 2015 I like the widest best because of including the audience. I'd have liked it a touch wiser to catch his feet completely.
