M9P + 35mm Summicron

I know there is a bit of HDR in there, it was the only solution at my disposal to bring out the clouds, normally I would have used a grad filter, is it cheating ?

What do you think ?

Excellent picture, dramatic tones. Fine result, in the end.

How you get there is not important, except that others might learn from your experience. Cheating? How and who are you cheating? It can only be yourself, and then only you can be the judge. Show your pictures, let them stand on their own merits. This one should be durable.

Mike,

it is a great image with great details, light and depth. The sky and its reflection is essential. The poles and stones are defining the depth. RAW files are always dull and need processing up to the artists imagination. Excellent work  here, Mike
