250swb Posted May 23, 2015 Share #1 Posted May 23, 2015 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) The curse of the audio tour, seen at the old Southwell Workhouse near Nottingham. Leica Monochrom M and 35mm Summicron, I could have done with a 28mm in the small room, but the same elements would have been in the picture. Advertisement Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Hi 250swb, Take a look here The Audio Tour. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
thighslapper Posted May 23, 2015 Share #2 Posted May 23, 2015 Yes ...... I also find something intensely irritating about following people around with these things clamped to their ears, if anything they seem to pay even less attention to their surroundings and become totally inconsiderate and in ignorance of other folk around them ......
Michael Hiles Posted May 23, 2015 Share #3 Posted May 23, 2015 (edited) I sometimes use these devises - they are very useful in some cases. I usually/always am not an expert on a picture or scene I am viewing, and I like the ability to hear the insights and history of the piece I am looking at. I don't think I am actively diminishing anyone else's experience by maximizing my own experience. stuny Posted May 23, 2015 Share #4 Posted May 23, 2015 Very nice. We generally don't use them, but sometimes do. We too are annoyed in exactly the manner that Steve describes above.
