stuny Posted May 23, 2015 Share #1 Posted May 23, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Yesterday in Harlem from the Metro North train station at 125th Street. Adam went beyond the "approved" area causing a train to stop so the engineers could scold him. As we walked back towards the stair another railroad employee scolded him, too. The engineers no doubt radioed back. In the photo you can just barely see the MetLife building, where I work, about four miles south, and just north of Grand Central Terminal where the tracks end. stuny Posted May 28, 2015 Author Share #11 Posted May 28, 2015 Jeff - Yes, and when I saw the possibility I paused too long, and Adam went down there to the rapidly applied wrath of the railroad people.
Doc Henry Posted May 28, 2015 Share #12 Posted May 28, 2015 (edited) Stuart, is it Adam , our famous street photographer in Leica Forum ? ... if so, he changed and now makes "rails photography" Best Henry Edited May 28, 2015 by Doc Henry
stuny Posted May 28, 2015 Author Share #13 Posted May 28, 2015 Henry - Yes, the same Adam, but fear not. Once he processes and scans his film you'll see his street portraits from Harlem.
pauledell Posted May 30, 2015 Share #14 Posted May 30, 2015 Stuart, Great shots but someday the scolding maybe more severe for Adam. There are detention stations made for him. Paul

John Basso Posted May 30, 2015 Share #16 Posted May 30, 2015 Like the shot and the humour in it.Surprising the bilingual sign didn't stop him ,or he is not well versed in those languages : John Basso.
stuny Posted May 31, 2015 Author Share #17 Posted May 31, 2015 John - Thank you. Adam is a bright, bold, exceptionally likable talented photographer. The lure of the shot (I felt the lure, too, but I'm not so bold) overcame the mild written taboo.
