This very early enlarger/printer was mainly made of wood. But like any Leitz product, it was extremely carefully and strongly made. What explains that the one I once discovered was in excellent condition.

Here are the detailed photos I made...long ago. Hinges and locking system details are self-speaking.

As far as the (fixed) lens is concerned, I think to remember that there was no engraving at all.

Was it designed to be used in sunlight with printing-out paper?

As far as I know, it could effectively be used in daylight. Frankly, I never tried... :)
