Iduna Posted May 18, 2015 Share #7 Posted May 18, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Andy, such crisp sharpnes in this series with that lens. I also like the frames and the lonesome tristesse of that place.

'Lonesome tristesse' - yes, exactly right. Great b&ws which remind me of childhood holidays... cheers: Sam
platypus Posted May 20, 2015 Share #9 Posted May 20, 2015 The black and white shots are so evocative, the emptiness is thought provoking. I particularly like the second shot with the shifting sands on the path and against the building.

earleygallery Posted May 20, 2015 Share #11 Posted May 20, 2015 Nice work Andy. Have you thought of submitting these to the local tourist office There are few scenes as depressing as British seaside resorts out of season.

pgk Posted May 21, 2015 Share #13 Posted May 21, 2015 There are few scenes as depressing as British seaside resorts out of season. You think it looks better in the season? Nice Pix Andy as Rhyl IS difficult. I've only taken a few shots near Rhyl thatI'm happy with - of the world's first submarine - underwater. Never got anything above as yet. I have friends who live there who might even agree .....
