M4P Serial Query

Hi

 

First post as a new M4P owner - I have been keen to start shooting with a Leica rangefinder so thought Id dip my toe in the water with an M4P. First question (one to follow shortly on the lens!)....

 

the serial is 1552736 which isnt listed on this page: https://www.cameraquest.com/mtype.htm Seems to fall between batches which Im assuming is just unlisted??

My M4P is serial number 1532410, even earlier! 

 

It came with an Elmarit 90 mm f2.8 of the same age and still has the official sticker of the Italian importer of the time (Polyphoto S.P.A.)....perhaps some M4-2s were upgraded from factory to M4P standard.

I have an M4-2 with a very early #1468---.  It's usually listed in a batch of portugese R4's.
