Advertisement Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 Hi MaDeVa, Take a look here M-E brassing. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stebesplace Posted July 30, 2015 Share #22 Posted July 30, 2015 New to the site here, but I have an M-E that I swear no matter what I do, or condition I shoot in, won't brass at all. Give it a couple more years, perhaps it will, but I'm surprised how durable the M-E finish is compared to my M6, or friends M8/M9 paint. It does seem quite durable, and unlike what many here think, it's also very attractive.
adespen Posted August 13, 2015 Share #25 Posted August 13, 2015 I like the colour which is not as uncommon as one may think. Mine is brassing nicely, as if I could stop it (from not reflecting the daily being in my shoulder bag with other detritus). Welcome, dear visitor! ShivaYash Posted August 21, 2015 Share #26 Posted August 21, 2015 I love the M-E colour, after the boring M8 black chrome, the battle ship grey is a nice change. I think the M-E is the nicest looking M9 variant, sleek without the fussy of the frame selector. Now if only I could get the SD card out without removing the bottom plate, that would be great. I realise from my last comment Leica geeks will want me shot, but as much as I love Leica, for those of us using leather half cases, its a faff. And no, I don't want to buy Luigi's replacement bottom plate.

It sits now in a grey Luigi case, a nice match.
