Doc Henry Posted April 23, 2015 Share #3 Posted April 23, 2015 romantic color and a nice spring greeting Yes "romantic" I agree with Iduna ... and I add soft and faithful color Nice framing Steve I recently some pictures of KP160 in film thread too Best Henry
A miller Posted April 23, 2015 Share #4 Posted April 23, 2015 Wonderful. I would agree on the "romance" point except that this is, after all, the Bronx.
sblitz Posted April 23, 2015 Author Share #5 Posted April 23, 2015 Thanks all! Careful Adam, we are talking about my home borough and I grew up a stone's throw from the Gardens. :
sblitz Posted April 23, 2015 Author Share #6 Posted April 23, 2015 i should add, for those noting the color and softness, this photo was taken with the DR 50mm summicron, 1962 vintage ...... gotta love these old lenses, especially with film . . . .
A miller Posted April 23, 2015 Share #7 Posted April 23, 2015 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) No personal offense, Steve. I think your DR did wonders here. Speaking of the Bronx, I'd love to spend a few hours up on Fordham road. I was there recently and was astonished at how rich with NYC diverse culture it is. It makes Harlem look boring, IMHO.
