How can I select new posts in English only?

The above explanation leaves my query unanswered. I often start by viewing a filtered selection of the newest posts. But I cannot refine my filtering to exclude German language only entries. Could this additional filter be considered in a future upgrade of this excellent forum?

Have you seen the "View New Content" button on the top right hand side of the page? Does this not do what you are asking for?

An update on my initial query. After experimenting, I have now refined my filters by selecting the forums I wish to monitor. It is a versatile system which is not immediately obvious to new users.
